Will the Seat Occupancy Simulator work on my car?
The Seat Occupancy Simulator by BimTronics will work on your X3, X5, Z3, Z4, E31, E34, E36, E38, E39, E46, E53, E60 (pre Lci)*, E61 (pre Lci)*, E65, E66 and E67.
To ensure compatibility with your model of vehicle before purchasing, please locate the Sensor Connector as described and illustrated on the Installation page of our website. The Sensor Connector should have a "Two-Pin" connection that the Simulator plugs into.
*Sometimes locations of the Seat Occupancy Control/Sensor Connector may vary for the E60 Pre Lci and E61 Pre Lci models and in some cases may not be compatible.
My car is not listed, what can I do?
Please contact us through the website by sending us an email. We will let you know within 24hours whether we can help.
When will my product arrive
Delivery is normally between 1-5 working days. If you have been waiting longer than this please contact us immediately.
My airbag warning light is still on, what shall I do?
The light will remain on after installation until the car's internal computer or ECU is reset. This can be done at most garages for free (if you ask nicely enough).
Is it safe?
The Seat Occupancy Simulator is completely safe and fire retardant unlike others on the market.
Is it easy to install?
The Seat Occupancy Simulator is very easy to install and comes complete with the Easy Installation Guide and securing set.
How long will it last?
The BimTronics Seat Occupancy Simulator is designed to last a life time; it is vibration proof and fully waterproof. The Seat Occupancy Sensor comes fully guaranteed unlike others on the market.
Can I return the product if I am not happy?
Returns Policy:
If you are not completely satisfied with the item ordered, you must confirm via email that you would like to return your item. Return it within 14 days from the date of receipt of the item (if possible in the original packaging) and we will refund your money or send you a replacement - no questions asked. Please note we are only able to accept items that have not been worn, altered or used and are returned within 14 days of receipt. Please allow up to 12 days to process refunds. www.BimTronics.com is not responsible for shipping costs for returned items. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979.
